The Dolat Group is a leading investment and financial consultancy firm in the Indian Capital Markets and Financial Services for more than forty years. The Group gained its initial membership of the Bombay Stock Exchange in the year 1970 and in 1993, the entity ‘Dolat Capital Market Ltd.' was established.

The founders of the company started business with major concentration in market making. The company in the process provided liquidity to the expanding Indian capital economy. With their knowledge and expertise in market making and with the widespread use of updated technology and systems, the firm has efficiently endeavored into arbitrage in the cash sector between the Bombay Stock Exchange, the National Stock Exchange and the other local Exchanges.

With the introduction of derivatives trading in India, the Group was compelled to endeavor into arbitrage between the cash and the future economies.

Incorporated by late Mr. Dolatrai A. Shah, the Group is presently owned and administered by his four sons who are dedicated to establishing this empire and strongly believe that "the best is yet to be."

Since the origination of the derived markets in India in 2000, the company has sustained a leading position in this sector. Its proprietary arbitrage book worth US$100mn is one of the biggest in the nation. The daily revenue of the group through this activity is more than US$120 mn and it is entitled to 5 to 7% of the open interest of the derivative market.

• Institutional Equity -The company is primarily relationship-driven and has established good relations with its customers over the years by offering expert value-added services.
